-Sir Winston S. Churchill

TOP REASONS TO STUDY HISTORY
-
History is OUR story.
-
History puts us into contact with people and cultures that developed, invented and discovered the things we rely on and take for granted in life today.
-
History is a broad tapestry of human thought and behavior and gives us insight into human nature.
-
History repeats itself. While we may not be able to change the course events entirely, we can take the lessons from history and use them to change ourselves and influence our corner of the world.
-
History makes us grateful for the blessings of modern life. Life with computers, electricity, iPods, and microwaves is better than, for example, living in a cold and drafty castle.
