Admission Into the Honors Program Students are admitted to the program based on the following criteria: •  National Merit Finalists and Bright Flight Scholars are admitted upon application. •  An ACT score of 25 or ASSET scores of 48 are required. •  Others may apply by submitting an application that includes an ACT or ASSET score, a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher, and original brief essays describing the student's academic and professional goals. An interview may be required. •  Transfer students who have earned 12 credit hours with a GPA of 3.25 may apply. •  Students not enrolled in the honors program may choose, with instructor recommendation and with program director approval, to make application for an honors contract to earn honors status for that course.    Application to Honors Program   Return to Honors Program
