ASSET is an assessment tool used by TRCC to place entering students in the appropriate mathematics and English classes. The ASSET is not used like a traditional test. There is generally no "passing score" and students cannot fail.
There is no cost for the test, but students taking the ASSET must have been admitted to the college and paid the $20 admission fee. The examination time is two hours.
