JOHNSON TO REPRESENT MISSOURI IN NATIONAL MARKETING GROUP
POPLAR BLUFF - Teresa Johnson, director of marketing at Three Rivers Community College, has been named state representative for Missouri to District 5 of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.
The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges, represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. NCMPR has more than 1,500 members from nearly 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries. NCMPR’s District 5 includes colleges in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Manitoba.
“NCMPR assists its members in the important job of promoting the quality, affordable and accessible college and career programs offered at community colleges,” Johnson said.
Johnson has been employed as marketing director at Three Rivers since 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and has more than 28 years experience in journalism and marketing/public relations.
