STUDENTS MAY REGISTER
FOR SUMMER CLASSES AT THREE RIVERS
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - Three Rivers Community College will open early registration for all summer 2008 classes on Monday, Feb. 25.
Students are encouraged to register for summer classes during the Early Registration period to ensure class availability. The Three Rivers campus Office of the Registrar in the Bess Center will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Students may also register at any of Three Rivers' centers in Campbell, Kennett, Malden and Sikeston. The Early Registration period ends in campus offices on Friday, April 18 and online for returning students on Sunday, April 20.
Three Rivers will offer three sessions of classes this summer. The full summer session will meet June 2 - July 28; A session will meet June 2-28; B session will meet July 2-July 28.
The full schedule of classes for summer 2008 can currently be viewed on the college website at www.trcc.edu and then using the online Rapid Reggie program. A printed schedule of summer classes will be available throughout the region later this spring.

Graduating high school students have an opportunity to get a "jump start" on their college education through summer course work. Summer classes offer students the opportunity to earn their degree faster, prepare for future college coursework or enhance skills. In addition, students who enroll in summer courses at Three Rivers have a number of advantages, including:
· one of the lowest tuition rates of any college or university in Missouri;
· smaller class size and personal attention;
· students will be able to connect with their instructor and fellow classmates;
· classes that are designed to fit students' schedules, with the choice of three sessions - the full summer session and two shorter sessions;
· classes offered on the college campus in Poplar Bluff as well as at the Three Rivers Centers in Malden, Kennett, Campbell, Sikeston and Portageville, sites throughout the Southeast Missouri region and online.
New Three Rivers students must register in person on campus or at one of the college centers in Malden, Kennett or Sikeston; returning students can register on the college website at www.trcc.edu by using the online Rapid Reggie program. Tuition at Three Rivers is just $77.50 per credit hour for students living in the college taxing district of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne; tuition for Missouri residents in other counties is just $116.50 per credit hour.
