Associate of Arts Degree
The Associate of Arts (AA) is a degree primarily for transfer to a bachelor’s program at a four-year college or university. Students pursuing an Associate of Arts degree select a university parallel program of study with the help of faculty and professional staff advisors.

Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree
The Associate of Arts in Teaching degree (AAT) is a statewide specialized degree that is intended for transfer to approved teacher education programs at Missouri four-year colleges and universities. Associate of Arts in Teaching students MUST complete all the courses that appear in the selected program of study. In addition, AAT students must have attained a 2.5 GPA and must have passed the C-BASE. Three Rivers Community College offers an Associate of Arts in Teaching in elementary education, middle school education and secondary education.

Associate of
Science Degree

The Associate of Science (AS) is a specialized degree that is intended for transfer into a pre-professional program or a coherent self-sufficient component of a specialized, four-year occupational program. Associate of Science students MUST complete all the courses that appear in the selected program of study. Three Rivers offers an Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice and in Engineering.
