Continuing Education
The Office of Continuing Education at Three Rivers offers classes for individuals who want to improve their job performance, develop new skills and pursue personal goals. Three Rivers offers a wide range of continuing education courses from local instructors. In addition, Three Rivers has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online continuing education opportunities.

Course: Disability Benefits and Employment Workshop
Description: This class will give current, accurate information about how work income may affect federal and state disability benefits including: Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security Disability Benefits and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Dispel rumors and myths so beneficiaries can go to work with peace of mind and ensure they are utilizing all possible, eligible programs including the following:
  • Student Earned Income Exclusion
  • PASS- Plan to Achieve Self Support– allowing savings for a work goal, such as a car or for education, which is exempt from resource limits
  • Impairment Related Work Expense
  • Trial Work Period
  • Extended Medicaid
  • Continuation of Medicare Coverage– at least 93 months
  • Various programs which allow you to quickly re-start benefits if you lose your job due to disability

Description: This class offers the assistance with job searching, application completion, and resume, cover letter, and thank you letter drafting.

Description: Learn the basics of cake décor! Create your own special masterpieces while spending quality time with family!
