A+ Incentive Program

ALL A+ FUNDING IS CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABLITY OF STATE MONEY.

A+ covers tuition and common fees. I understand I am responsible for course specific fees, lab fees, study guides, all books, and the textbook deposit fee. I also understand that if I am eligible for a pell grant, and it pays the entire amount of eligible expenses, then I am not eligible for A+ funding. While attending Three Rivers Community College under the A+ Financial Incentive funding program, I agree to abide by the following guidelines:

Must provide TRCC with an official final high school transcript stamped with the high school’s A+ seal.
Must complete and submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) each year and list TRCC’s school code (004713). FAFSA results must be processed, and if selected for verification this process must be completed, before eligibility of A+ can be established.
Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each semester,
(6 credit hours for summer).
Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. College classes taken while in high school are not used in calculating cumulative GPA.
Must contact the Financial Aid Advisor immediately if adding or dropping classes. If enrolled in a class that A+ has paid and then drop that class, A+ will not pay for the repeat class. However, the hours can be part of my 12 credit hour or 6 credit hour requirement.
Must submit a class schedule to the Financial Aid Advisor at the start of each semester.
Must be pursuing an approved degree or certificate. (Non Degree is not a degree)
Special needs students must visit with the Financial Aid Advisor prior to registering for classes.
You have a four-year window to use six semesters of A+ funding. Eligibility starts when I officially graduate from high school. I understand that A+ funding ends when I have completed my degree or certificate.
A+ funding cannot be used to pay for housing at TRCC. Pell grants must be used first to pay tuition and common fees, before A+ funds can be utilized.
If I am called to Active Duty (National Guard and/or Reserve) immediately after high school my A+ eligibility will be extended for the length of time spent on Active Duty Status. I am responsible for providing TRCC with a copy of my DD214.
