New Student Online Orientation
To prepare new students for a successful college experience, Three Rivers Community College has created an Online Orientation Program that explains our policies, programs and services.
Our required Online Orientation Program will help you be successful by educating you about the many programs and services you can take advantage of as a student. You’ll learn about the policies and procedures that affect you as a TRCC student. You will learn how to go online to check your grades, transcript and financial aid status.
The online orientation is presented in a convenient, easily accessible format.
| • |
New students will receive a letter explaining how to access the Online Orientation Program. |
| • |
You can access the Online Orientation Program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
| • |
You will need to complete the Student Survey and the eight sections that cover TRCC’s policies and procedures. After reading each section, take the Online Orientation Quiz. |
| • |
There is no time limit to complete each quiz. You can return to the online orientation and continue from where you stopped previously or read sections over again. |
| • |
You need a score of 100% for all eight quizzes to complete TRCC’s orientation requirement. If you do not receive 100% on a quiz, you can retake it until you get the full points awarded. |
| • |
Once you have completed all eight quizzes, go to the Tools tab and click on My Grades. A total of 270 points is needed to
receive 100% on the Orientation. After you have successfully completed the Orientation, your Orientation Hold will be removed
from your account. |
Deadline to complete the Online Orientation Program is September 15 for Fall semester, February 15 for Spring semester.
