Three Rivers athletes named NJCAA All-Academic Players
The softball team and several individual athletes from Three Rivers College have been named All-Academic Players by the National Junior College Athletics Association.
With a cumulative 3.32, the Lady Raiders softball team has the 26th-highest overall GPA of all NJCAA softball teams in the nation. Several individual players from both the softball and lady basketball team have also received special recognition:
- Cendyl Carter, a softball player from Dardanelle, AR, has received the "superior academic achievement" title with her 3.83 GPA.
- Londyn Backfisch, a softball player from Benton, MO, has received the "exemplary academic achievement" title with a 3.78 GPA.
- Softball player Mallory Siebert of Scott City has also received the "exemplary academic achievement" title due to her 3.64 GPA.
- Basketball player Abbie Ivie of Poplar Bluff earned the "exemplary academic achievement" title with a 3.67 GPA.
- Abigale Warren, a basketball player from Dexter, also earned the "exemplary academic achievement" recognition with a GPA of 3.66.
