Online tutoring sessions allow students to benefit from the Bedell RWC tutoring services without having to visit the campus.  TRCC students enrolled in morning and afternoon classes as well as those enrolled in evening, off-campus, and web-based classes may submit their drafts for online tutoring help.

How do I submit an assignment for online review?
Student seeking an online tutoring session must submit the essay via email.  Guidelines for submitting essays are as follows:

1. Open a new email message to be sent to the following address: writing@trcc.edu

2. In the "Subject" line of the email, type your name followed by the word "essay".

3. Send your essay as an attachment, saved in Microsoft Word format.  No other word processing formats can be accepted.  Do not cut and paste your essay into the text section of the email.

4. In the text section of the email message, include the following:

NOTE: You must ask specific questions of the tutors concerning your paper.  Tutors will not read your paper, marking every error.  Also, do not ask a tutor to "proofread for errors." You are expected to have specific concerns with which a tutor can assist you.

When will I receive a response from a tutor?
Tutors will try to read your paper and answer your specific concerns as quickly as possible, normally within one working day.  However, do not be surprised if two working days pass before you receive a response.  Understand that there are many students who use the services offered, and your concerns will be addressed in the order received.
