Continuing Education
The Office of Continuing Education at Three Rivers offers classes for individuals who want to improve their job performance, develop new skills and pursue personal goals. Three Rivers offers a wide range of continuing education courses from local instructors. In addition, Three Rivers has partnered with ed2go to offer hundreds of online continuing education opportunities.

Course: Fitness Package

  • Cost: $37.50 monthly or $425 yearly
  • Instructor(s): Staff
  • Location: Ben and Martha Bidewell Fitness Center located in the Bess Student Center
  • Description: Enjoy all the fitness classes you love in one package. The Fitness Package gives you unlimited access to:
    • STRETCH & RENEW (Monday 8:00-8:50)—Low-intensity stretching for joint and muscle flexibility. Poses will be performed both standing and down on the floor.
    • ACCESSIBLE YOGA (Tuesday/Thursday 10:00-10:50)—Low-intensity beginning yoga class for those unable to get down on the floor. Poses will be performed both standing and seated. No prior yoga experience necessary.
    • YOGA (Wednesday/Friday 8:00-8:50)—Group fitness class that links movement and breath to attain balance, flexibility, and strength in both the mind and body. Poses will be performed both standing and down on the floor. No prior yoga experience necessary.
    • FITGOLD BODY SCULPT (Tuesday/Friday 9:00-9:50)—A medium-intensity exercise work out that includes body weight, bands, and dumbbells.
    • ZUMBA (Monday/Thursday 9:00-9:50)—A cardio workout involving choreographed dance routines to Latin, Pop, and Country music.
    • REFIT (Monday/Wednesday 4:30-5:30 or Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-6:15)—A cardio-based dance movement to the rhythms of value-positive music.
    • TAI CHI (Monday/Wednesday 12:15-1:00)—Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
    • STRETCH SCULPT (Tuesday/Thursday 12:15-1:00)—Group fitness class similar to a yoga class with additional movements.

Course: Tae Kwon Do

  • Description: A Korean martial art characterized by its emphasis on head-high kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.
  • Cost: $75.00 per month

Course: Ninjutsu

  • Description:The traditional Japanese art of stealth, camouflage, and sabotage developed in feudal times for espionage and now practiced as a martial art.
