Student Email Migration Instructions
Student Email Migration Instructions

To better serve students, Three Rivers College will be performing updates to our Microsoft Office 365 services starting March 13, 2021. Students will be impacted in the following ways:

  • Your current mymail.trcc.edu mailbox will be changed to an oldmail.trcc.edu address.
  • Students who have registered for or attended classes after the 2018 Fall semester, along with email addresses that have been active in the last 90 days, will be given a new mymail.trcc.edu mailbox. Your username and password will not change. For example, if prior to the upgrade your email address was rraider3456@mymail.trcc.edu, it will still be rraider3456@mymail.trcc.edu.
  • If you do not meet the criteria to receive a new mymail.trcc.edu mailbox, you will no longer be able to receive email at your mymail.trcc.edu address. Email can still be received at your oldmail.trcc.edu address, but you will need to update any service emailing that address with the change.
  • During the upgrade, any email sent to your mymail.trcc.edu address will be lost. No email can be sent or received by your College email address until the update is complete.
  • Email received in Outlook, files saved to OneDrive (including online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and videos saved to Stream before March 13, 2021, will be accessible by logging into your oldmail.trcc.edu Office 365 account.
  • Students will be responsible for downloading a copy of their emails and files from their oldmail.trcc.edu Office 365 account and transferring them to their new mymail.trcc.edu account. Guides on moving these items will be provided shortly.
  • During the upgrade you will still be able to log into Blackboard and do your course work.
  • During the upgrade myTRCC will not be affected, but you will not be able to change your password except by contacting the Welcome Center in person or by phone at 573-840-9605.
  • The entire update process is expected to take around 72 to 96 hours.
