Schedule changes for Lady Raiders Softball District Playoff games due to weather

Weather has forced changes in the schedule for the District J Playoff featuring the Three Rivers College Lady Raiders Softball Team. The games at Rains Field are now set for noon May 5; 30 minutes following Game 1; and, if a third game is needed, noon May 6. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for high school and college students with ID, and free for ages 6 and younger.

For the first time in team history, the Three Rivers College Lady Raiders Softball Team are the Region XVI champions. They will play this weekend for the opportunity to go to the National Championship tournament.

The Lady Raiders will play #14 ranked Indian Hills Community College in the best two of three District J Playoff. The winner of the series will advance to the NJCAA Division 1 Softball Championship Tournament to be held May 16-19 in St. George, Utah.

The Lady Raiders won the Region XVI Tournament April 29 with a win over Crowder College.
