Three Rivers College and Center Stage present “A Christmas Carol, a Live Radio Play”
Center Stage, the Three Rivers College community theater group, will perform “A Christmas Carol, a Live Radio Play” at 7 p.m. December 6 and 7 and 2 p.m. December 7 and 8 in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the Three Rivers campus.
This Christmas classic is performed as an old-fashioned radio broadcast. Mike Malone directs this Center Stage production of Tony Palermo’s faithful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story of Christmas, memory, and redemption.
This script is true to Dickens language and theme. It also features authentic orchestral Victorian Christmas carols, spooky ghost music, and manual sound effects.
Tickets are $5 and will go on sale November 8 at TRC Student Accounts, Tinnin Center Art Gallery, and online at tinnin.ticketleap.com. Tickets also will be sold at the door, as available. All seats are reserved.
“This show is a wonderful throwback to the days of radio theater. It’s a unique and entertaining way to experience this classic story,” said Robert Abney, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center. “The low ticket price of this show makes it an easy choice for everyone in our community.”
