Three Rivers College is a vibrant, dynamic community college with a student-first philosophy, a commitment to leadership, and a forward-thinking attitude. This public, two-year comprehensive institution was established in 1966 to provide educational opportunities to residents of the four-county taxing district and surrounding service area in Southeast Missouri. Currently, Three Rivers has approximately 3,000 students enrolled in college transfer, career technical, transitional, and continuing education courses.
Three Rivers College is located on 80-acres in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with three full-service off-campus locations. In addition, the College teaches classes at more than 35 secondary sites throughout its 15-county service area.
Three Rivers has a robust athletics program with six competitive teams. We emphasize the college experience with a bustling student housing complex, expanding student organizations, and flourishing campus and community activities. Three Rivers has established a reputation for academic excellence, personalized service, and a student focus. The College provides comprehensive programming in university transfer, career education, and nursing/allied health areas.
Poplar Bluff serves an eight-county trade area population of more than 185,000, and is the center of government, commerce, education, and health care for a large area in Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas. Known as the “Gateway to the Ozarks” features a variety of outdoor and recreational activities, as well as numerous entertainment venues and a variety of restaurants.
