Lady Raiders take on Western Nebraska in quarterfinals of national tournament
The #9 seed Lady Raiders will play the #16 seed Western Nebraska Community College at 1 p.m. CST, April 22, in the quarterfinals of the National Tournament being held at Lubbock Christian University.

Happy Days are coming to Three Rivers College
The Three Rivers College Music Department will be performing Happy Days – The New Musical at 7 p.m. April 30 and May 1 and 2 p.m. May 2. This will be a free outdoor event held behind the Tinnin Fine Arts Center with seating on the grass terraces behind the building.

Registration opened for new and returning students on April 6 for Summer and Fall classes at Three Rivers College. Students can register in person, online, by phone, or by emailing an advisor.

Pooja Dayaratna wins Three Rivers College’s Southeast Missouri Regional Spelling Bee
Pooja Dayaratna, a seventh grader from Farmington Middle School, is the champion of the Southeast Missouri Regional Spelling Bee held March 27 at Three Rivers College. The championship word was “thrall.” Dayaratna will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which this year will be primarily a virtual event because of COVID restrictions.

Application deadline approaching for the Medical Laboratory Technician program at Three Rivers College
The application deadline is May 15 for the Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) entrance examination requirement has been waived at this time.

Three Rivers College signs agreement to purchase TRC-Dexter building from Dexter Chamber
Three Rivers College signed an agreement with the Dexter Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, March 9, to purchase the building that houses TRC-Dexter. The four-year lease-to-own agreement will secure a permanent home for the College in Dexter and provide room for growth.

Three Rivers College inducts 2021 members in Athletic Hall of Fame
Dr. Jerry F. McLane and Family, Cheri Ramsey, Heather Robey, Randy Smith, and Latrell Sprewell are the 2021 inductees in Three Rivers College’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Located in the Libla Family Sports Complex, the Hall of Fame will be open for viewing during the basketball games at the annual Alumni Reunion on March 13.
