Academic Accommodations & Disability Services

Academic accommodations are modifications to academic requirements or procedures that are necessary to ensure that qualified students with disabilities receive equal access to education. These modifications should not alter the academic integrity of the course.

For New Students

Early planning helps to ensure accommodations are in place when classes begin, especially if you have questions about what documentation is required for eligibility purposes. Written documentation which supports your disability will need to be provided in addition to the ODS Accommodation Request Form.

For Returning Students

Once accepted as a qualified person with a disability, you will not need to reapply for services. Students will request the academic accommodations they would like to utilize each semester and should periodically review their accommodations to ensure they still meet their academic needs. If you would like to discuss revisions to your current accommodations, please contact us. If there is a change in your diagnosis, you will need to provide additional supporting documentation.
