Your bright future begins with FREE job training this summer.
Three Rivers College is offering FREE training programs this summer to help recent high school graduates get valuable skills for a great start in life. After successfully completing one of these programs, you’ll earn a certificate which you can use to get a job in your chosen area, or you can continue at Three Rivers and turn your certificate into an Associate of Applied Science degree.
Project DRIVE covers 100% of the costs for participating students! These summer “boot camps” are available to limited number of people, so please apply early. Admission is first come, first served.

Complete one of our summer “boot camps” and earn a short-term certificate.
Welding
Learn in-demand skills with this eight-week program in Dexter.
Commercial Driving
Prepare to pass the CDL exam with this six-week program.
Industrial Production Technician
Get a head start on a career in advanced manufacturing with this eight-week program.
Construction
Build a career in construction by starting with this eight-week program.
Early Childhood Development
Be eligible for a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate after this six-week program.
Note: Summer boot camp courses may change each summer to best serve the needs of the community.

Who Is Eligible?
- 2023-2025 high school graduates
- Graduates of rural high schools
- Rural residents of Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, etc.
About Project DRIVE
Three Rivers College was awarded a federal grant to help prepare rural residents for successful careers in the local and regional workforce. The Project DRIVE (Direct Rural Initiative Vying for Employment) grant focuses on helping new high school graduates get in-demand job training in the summer after their high school graduation. The program runs October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2025.
The grant was written for the 14 counties in the Three Rivers area, but rural residents from any state may apply.
