Apply for Project DriveThree Rivers College is offering FREE commercial driving (CDL) training this September to help recent high school graduates get valuable skills for a great start in life. After successfully completing the program, you’ll be ready to take the CDL exam.
Project DRIVE covers 100% of the costs for participating students! This September commercial driving class is only available to a limited number of people, so please apply now. Admission is first come, first served.
We will be offering free training in other programs in the summer of 2024. Please watch for the list of programs to be announced in January 2024.

- 2023-2025 high school graduates
- Graduates of rural high schools
- Rural residents of Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, etc.
About Project DRIVE
Three Rivers College was awarded a federal grant to help prepare rural residents for successful careers in the local and regional workforce. The Project DRIVE (Direct Rural Initiative Vying for Employment) grant focuses on helping new high school graduates get in-demand job training in the summer after their high school graduation. The program runs October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2025.
The grant was written for the 14 counties in the Three Rivers area, but rural residents from any state may apply.
