Introducing the first ever, “Bring Your Own Bull” event! This unique event will be part of the third annual Battle of the Bulls on September 6, at 7 p.m. at Ray Clinton Park in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Deadline to enter: August 25, 2025.
BULL RIDERS: Ever ride that one bull you just click with—the one that helps you rack up the high scores? This time, bring him with you. That’s right: you bring the bull, and that’s your draw for the night.
STOCK CONTRACTORS: You haul bulls all over the country and know exactly which one is a guaranteed win when the right rider draws him. Now’s your chance to team up and prove it.
Here’s the Deal:
$5,000 added
$500 entry fee per team (rider + bull) – 100% payout
First 30 teams accepted
$20,000 total in the pot
One team member (either rider or contractor) will be designated as the captain and must pay the entry fee and collect any winnings. Splits are up to you two.
Rules:
- Score = Scored ride + Average of 4 judge’s bull scores
- Example: 90-point ride + bull scores (22.25 + 22 + 21.75 + 21.5)/4 = 111.875 total score
- No re-rides for under-performing bulls
- However, re-rides only allowed once for a foul at the chute, as ruled by the back judge
- If not all placing holes are filled with qualified rides, rank ride system will be used
- Payout to top 6
- Cash-only entries
- W-9 required for all payouts – bring it filled out if you want your winnings
