Students will learn to describe, employ and engage communication practices through our Communication Pathway courses. You will also learn to create messages appropriate to the audience, purpose, and context, critically analyze messages, apply ethical communication principles and practices, utilize communication to embrace difference, and influence public discourse.

AA Communication Pathway Purpose:

  • Describe the communication discipline and its central questions
  • Employ communication theories, perspectives, principles, and concepts.
  • Engage in communication inquiry.
  • Create messages appropriate to the audience, purpose, and context.
  • Critically analyze messages.
  • Apply ethical communication principles and practices.
