Career and Technical Education. This program builds advanced knowledge and skills in operating welding equipment and performing basic welding procedures. Students will receive hands-on instruction in pipefitting, gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc, shielded metal arc welding, shop safety, fabrication, and metallurgy. This certificate provides skills to prepare the student to seek employment in the workforce and to prepare the student to seek industry certification.
