Join us as five of Broadway’s finest vocalists pay homage to Broadway and Off-Broadway’s most original, intriguing, and terrifying characters in this all-new, fun and frightful musical event. Broadway Fright Night takes the stage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024. This show is brought to you by the Patrons of the Arts.

Tickets $15. Purchase during normal business hours at Three Rivers College Student Accounts located on the first floor of the Westover Administration building, from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Tinnin Art Gallery, and online at tinnin.ticketleap.com (online fee may be charged). All seats reserved at Tinnin Fine Arts Center. Tickets also sold at the door, as available.

More About Broadway Fright Night
Broadway Fright Night is a celebration of songs from musicals with Supernatural, Horror, and Sci-Fi themes. Created and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest vocalists will pay homage to Broadway and Off-Broadway’s most original, intriguing and terrifying characters in this all-new concert event. The stars will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their great versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience.

The evening will include musical selections from Wicked (“The Wizard and I” and “Defying Gravity”); The Phantom of the Opera (“Think of Me,” “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again,” and “Music of the Night”); Jekyll and Hyde (“This Is the Moment”); Little Shop of Horrors (“Somewhere That’s Green”); The Rocky Horror Show (“Science Fiction, Double Feature” and “Time Warp”); Sweeney Todd (“A Little Priest”); Young Frankenstein (“He Vas My Boyfriend”); Dance of the Vampires (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”); Dracula the Musical (“Life After Life”); Bat Out of Hell (“I Would Do Anything For Love”); Love Never Dies (“Love Never Dies”); The Secret Garden (“How Could I Ever Know?”), and much more!

RICHARD TODD ADAMS has spent much of the last decade performing in New York and across the country in some of the most sought-after roles in musical theater. Broadway and National Tours: The Phantom of the OperaLes MiserablesCatsThe Woman in White; and The Pirate Queen. He is one of a handful of American actors to have portrayed The Phantom, Jean Valjean, and Javert. 

MIG AYESA started his professional career in Australia, playing Ritchie Valens in Buddy. He was then chosen to join the London cast including a “Royal Variety Performance”  for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. MiG’s other West End credits include Galileo in We Will Rock You, Angel in RENT, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller Live. His Broadway credits include starring as Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor. He has just returned from a stint with the Tenors of Rock performing in their resident headline show in Harrah’s, Las Vegas. 

SARA JEAN FORD is best known for starring as Christine Daaé in the  Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera. Other Broadway: Cats (Jellylorum), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Smitty), A Little Night Music and Finian’s Rainbow. Off-Broadway: The Fantasticks (Luisa, Revival Cast Recording). Concerts: Anyone Can Whistle at City Center Encores!; Defying Gravity: The Music of Stephen Schwartz and Eric Whitacre at Lincoln Center, and Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings at Carnegie Hall and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

CHARISSA HOGELAND has performed all over America and as far across the world as Japan. She has been seen as Elsa in Disney’s Frozen on Broadway, the 1st National tour of Kinky Boots (Nicola), and in the Off-Broadway cast of Heathers: The Musical as Veronica Sawyer. Regional theater credits include The Cher Show (Lady, aka 70s Cher), several productions of Cabaret (Sally Bowles), and Vegas’s Baz: Star Crossed Love (Daisy Buchanan), Chicago, and The Producers (both at The Hollywood Bowl). TV credits include “Jesus Christ Superstar: Live!” on NBC and Amazon Prime’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” 

JENNY LEE STERN is a Broadway veteran who currently stars in the newest edition of Forbidden Broadway: Merrily We Stole a Song! now running in New York. She was seen on the Great Bright Way in Rocky (Original Broadway Cast- Joanne) and A Christmas Story (Mrs. Schwartz). She toured the country as Mary Delgado in Jersey Boys, originating the role in the Chicago and Toronto companies. Off-Broadway, Ms. Stern garnered critical acclaim for her portrayals of Judy Garland, Patti Lupone, Bernadette Peters, Sutton Foster (and more!) in Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking and Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation.

JOSHUA STEPHEN KARTES (Musical Director/Accompanist) is a Joseph Jefferson Award–winning musical director, arranger, pianist, and vocalist. He is the co-creator, orchestrator, and music director of the critically acclaimed “Broadway Sings” concert series. He has collaborated on solo performances with many Broadway performers, including Laura Michelle Kelly, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Kyle Taylor Parker, Frankie James Grande, and Alysha Umphress, among others. Joshua currently resides in Denver, Colorado, where he is a featured entertainer at Fortissimo Dueling Pianos.

STEPHEN DeANGELIS (Producer/Host) has produced and created more than 300 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States featuring a multitude of Broadway stars including numerous Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winners and nominees, stars from hit television series and films whose roots are on stage and Broadway’s fastest rising young performers. Throughout his career, he has worked with more than 100,000 performers across all entertainment mediums. His work has been acknowledged in Broadway World’s List of “Best Club, Cabaret and Concert” which they called “an artistic triumph that everyone should seek out and see.”
