The late Steve Weisberg, Denver’s longtime guitar accompanist, noted Vigil’s remarkable resemblance to Denver both physically and musically.u003c/pu003ernu003cp class=u0022isSelectedEndu0022u003eVigil is not an impersonator, but an artist dedicated to honoring Denver and the music that continues to resonate with audiences around the world. With his natural gift for the music and a polished, engaging performance style, Vigil creates a warm and memorable experience filled with Denver’s timeless songs.u003c/pu003ernu003cp class=u0022isSelectedEndu0022u003eBefore developing his John Denver tribute, Vigil wrote, recorded, and performed his own original music. In 2006, he won the national title at Talent Quest in Laughlin, Nevada, an achievement that helped inspire him to create his John Denver tribute show. He soon began performing across the country, and in 2007 shared the stage with Keith Anderson, Jeff Bates, and Kevin Sharp aboard the annual Traveling Kountry Kruz.u003c/pu003ernThat same year, Vigil won KOMO TV 4’s u003cemu003eNorthwest Afternoonu003c/emu003e Celebrity Look-Alike Contest. In 2010, he performed with Steve Weisberg and Eddie Kilgallon, keyboardist for Ricochet and Montgomery Gentry. Vigil later collaborated with Kilgallon to write and record original music in Nashville for the album u003cemu003eSing My Songsu003c/emu003e, produced by Kilgallon.
