The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Jan. 27) by offering free books for you to explore and learn more about the Holocaust. Starting January 18, students can visit the Rutland library on the Poplar Bluff campus in the ARC building and choose one of the following books: Holocaust survivor and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, Gerda Weissmann Klein’s memoir “All But My Life,” or Nobel Peace Prize Winner and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Elie Wiesel’s “The Night Trilogy.”

Starting Monday, February 1, TRC employees may participate and select a free book. Supplies are limited to 10 copies of each book, so distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If a student/employee is closer to one of the external locations, contact Davina Bixby at dbixby@trcc.edu to claim an available copy and make arrangements for delivery.
