Learn More About the Spirit of Scotland
The Spirit of Scotland Show, based in Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, has come to inhabit a central place in the city’s robust and thriving tourist industry. For several years this first class production has entertained audiences from across the world with a taste of the true spirit of Scotland with its unique blend of music, song and dance. Be transported to the highlands and islands, our iconic cities and beyond.

Edinburgh is home to countless traditional folk musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers who keep the country’s rich artistic heritage alive, many of the best are within the cast of Spirit of Scotland.

Be mesmerized by champion Scottish dancers, some of them directly from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. See how traditional dances like the ‘Highland Fling’ and ‘Sword Dance’ blend seamlessly with specially choreographed modern routines. This is a show that proudly takes the traditions of the past into an exciting future.

These world class singers and musicians not only wow audiences in Scotland but have graced many of the world stages, including performing for the late Queen Elizabeth II and the new King Charles III.

Hear favorite Scottish songs including ‘Auld Lang Syne’; ‘Loch Lomond’; ‘Mhairi’s Wedding’ and the ‘Skye Boat Song’, which was given a new lease of life as the theme music for the TV series ‘Outlander’. Also modern day classics like ‘Caledonia’ and some original songs, unique to our show, are all presented with fresh musical arrangements, ensuring a stunning feast of music.
