Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location: Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center
If you are a new student at Three Rivers, please join us on Wednesday, April 13 at 2 p.m. to learn about Student Resources! We’ll cover resources that are available to you such as the Food Pantry, Free Counseling, Disability Services, Tutoring & Learning, ACHIEVE, the Library, Security, Career Services, The PATH program, and the University Center. You can either join us face-to-face in Plaster 108 on the Poplar Bluff campus or via Zoom. You will need to register in order to join via Zoom.
We have already hosted two seminars this semester: Three Rivers Technology in February and Financing Your Education in March. In May, we’ll be hosting Surviving College and Preparing for Finals. For each seminar that you attend, you will be given up to a $50 scholarship. This means that you can earn up to $200 in scholarship money just for attending all four seminars. Your name will also be placed in a drawing for a $25 Raider Card (15 cards total) for each seminar you attend. These cards can be used at participating restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. The scholarship money will be applied to your account and the drawing will be held after the last seminar is completed in May.
NOTE: If you attended the seminars in Fall 2021 you will not qualify for the scholarships or gas cards this semester. The seminars for March, April, and May are the same as the ones we hosted in Fall 2021.
Hope to see you there!
