Grants
Awarded to students on the basis of financial need and do not have to be repaid as long as you remain in school and complete the semester satisfactorily.
Federal Work-Study
Earn money working part time while going to college. Awarded based on financial need and does not have to be repaid. You must apply for this assistance separately.
Federal Loans
Direct Subsidized Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Loans, and Direct Parent Plus Loans: All loans must be repaid with interest.
State Aid
Awarded based on financial need or merit and generally does not have to be repaid as long as you remain in school, don’t drop classes, and complete the semester satisfactorily.
Scholarships
Awarded on the basis of financial need, merit, or selective process and do not have to be repaid as long as you remain in school and complete the semester satisfactorily.
Veterans Benefits
Eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and does not have to be repaid as long as you remain in school, don’t drop classes, and complete the semester satisfactorily.
Vocational Rehabilitation
Eligibility is determined by Vocational Rehabilitation and generally does not have to be repaid if courses are completed satisfactorily.
Outsourced Agencies and Displaced Workers
Eligibility is determined by agency and generally does not have to be repaid if courses are completed satisfactorily.
