Mission Statement

ACHIEVE is a federally funded TRiO Student Support Services Program that serves first-generation and low-income students and students with disabilities. Our program is designed to help students navigate college life, be better college students and achieve their graduation goals.

Program Benefits

We take a comprehensive approach to build academic success and persistence as students work toward graduation or transfer. Through our dynamic program, academic supports are crafted to meet the unique needs of each student. We help our students establish clear attainable goals and see them through to success.

Students served by ACHIEVE find themselves surrounded with support services to help them succeed in the college environment. Students will be encouraged and challenged to reach their academic potential.

Who Can Participate?

Services are available at no charge. To be considered for ACHIEVE, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a student of Three Rivers
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have a need for academic support
  • Be a first-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor’s degree) and/or meet family income guidelines OR be an individual with a disability.

All applicants who meet the basic criteria will be evaluated to determine interest and placement in the program.
