Patrons of the Arts presents “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” performed by the acclaimed Theater Latté Da of Minneapolis at 7 p.m. December 6 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the campus of Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. “All is Calm” is a true tale from World War I. The dramatic musical takes place in 1914 when Allied and German soldiers laid down their arms to celebrate Christmas together.
“This highly-celebrated musical tells the story of an extraordinary moment in history, and it is beautifully performed by Theater Latté Da,” said Robert Abney, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center. “Thankfully, we are able to offer this amazing play at a very affordable price. It’s a Christmas show people will not want to miss.” The performance is sponsored by Dental Arts Group.
Tickets are $15 each and are available online at trcc.edu/tinnin and in person at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce and the Three Rivers Student Accounts Office. Tickets will be sold at the door, if any remain.
