The application deadlines for Three Rivers College’s Nursing programs in Poplar Bluff and Kennett are now approaching. The application deadline for the Poplar Bluff Registered Nurse (RN) day program and the evening LPN-RN Bridge program is March 1. The application deadline for the evening RN program is May 1. The application deadline for the Practical Nursing (PN) Program in Kennett is March 31.
“We still have slots available for all four programs, but students will have to act quickly,” said Dr. Staci Campbell, chair of Nursing and Allied Health. “These programs give extraordinary career advancement possibilities to our students, and we want to give every opportunity for students wanting to join the programs to apply.”
Applicants for the RN and LPN-RN Bridge program must have a 2.75 GPA and an NLN PAX-RN score of 110 or higher. No specific classes must be completed to apply to the program. Practical Nursing program applicants must have their GED or high school diploma with transcripts and complete the TEAS pre-entrance examination at a 58% or higher to be eligible for admission. LPN-to-RN Bridge applicants must also have a valid LPN license.
Campbell advises that all admissions materials, including official copies of transcripts from high school and other colleges, must be received by the appropriate deadline. Application forms for the RN, LPN-to-RN, and PN programs can be found online by clicking here. Prospective students must also complete a free Three Rivers admission application.
