Center Stage, the Three Rivers College community theater group, is holding auditions from 6-9 p.m., March 14-15 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the Three Rivers Poplar Bluff campus for roles in its spring presentation of “The Odd Couple,” directed by Nick McDaniel. Participants must be 18 or older.
Auditions for actors will be cold reads. For the cold read audition, random candidates will be selected to read short scenes from the script on stage. Good diction, clarity, and voice projection, strong character choices, and overall chemistry with different actors will be considered. Behind-the-scenes crew are also needed.
Rehearsals will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from March 21 to June 2, except on dates that fall on holidays. Performances of “The Odd Couple” will be at 7 p.m. June 3-4 and June 10-11; and will be at 2 p.m. June 5 and June 12.
