Three Rivers College is partnering with FCC Behavioral Health, The Mental Health Coalition, and the Community Resource Council to present a Mental Health Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center at Three Rivers College.
The Mental Health Conference will include keynote speakers Carol Goodman, Quality Improvement Officer for FCC Behavioral Health, and Moriah Joplin, Training Officer for FCC Behavioral Health. Additional speakers include Corey Reynolds, Behavioral Health Support Program Coordinator of Three Rivers College; Hannah Terry, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner in Mental Health LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator with John J. Pershing VAMC; and Carl Harbison, Suicide Prevention and Firearm Safety Specialist with FCC Behavioral Health.
The speaking sessions will include an “Overview of Mental Health” by Goodman and Joplin, “Welcoming Inclusive Safe Equitable Service Environments” by Corey Reynolds, “LGBTQ+ Mental Health” by Hannah Terry, and “Conversations for Suicide Safer Homes” by Carl Harbison.
