Three Rivers College will officially start the 2023-24 season with Raider Madness at 3 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Libla Family Sports Complex. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Raider Madness marks the first official practice of the 2023-24 men’s and women’s basketball seasons.
“This is a great opportunity for Raiders fans to come out and see new players on the court for the first time,” men’s head coach Brian Bess said.
Raider Madness will include a 3-point contest, a dunk contest, and brief scrimmages for both teams.
The Raiders play their first regular-season game at home against Dallas College North Lake on Nov. 3 during the 1st Midwest Bank Classic. They will also host John A. Logan at 7 p.m. Nov. 4, and Lincoln Trail at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 before heading on the road.
The Lady Raiders, who have gone to the national tournament three years in a row, including a final four appearance in 2021, open their regular season on the road at Dyersburg State at 6 p.m. Nov. 1. Their first home game will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 4 against Wabash Valley, and will follow that with a home game at 3 p.m. Nov. 5 against Olney Central.
