The Three Rivers College Behavioral Health Support Program will host the “Overcoming Trauma of Lived/Living Experiences” miniseries on November 4, 11, and 18 at 6 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center.
Each date will feature a different topic and everyone is encouraged to attend all three to learn about Overcoming Trauma. Previous miniseries include “How to Spot a Narcissist” and “How to Spot a Sociopath.”
On November 4, presenters Amber Brown and Zach McAnulty will present “The Power of Faith in Recovery” and “Recovering from Religious Trauma.”
On November 11, Gibson Centers for Behavioral Change will focus on Addiction and Trauma. Presenters include Janice Ruesler, Laura Emmons, Jamie Brown, Christina Haddock, Ashely Naeger, and Nic Barna.
On November 18, Sierra Elliot, Amanda Gowen, and Mamie Winstead will speak on Domestic Violence and Child Abuse & Neglect. Elliot is a Chief Juvenile Officer with the 36th Judicial Circuit. Gowen is a Child and Outreach Advocate with Havan House. Winstead is a Circuit Manager with the 36th Judicial Circuit.
