The Lady Raiders softball team won the NJCAA Division 1 Midwest District Championship, defeating Indian Hills Community College in two straight games on Sunday.

The Lady Raiders will now advance to the Division 1 national tournament May 25-29 in Yuma, Ariz.

In the best of three District series, the Lady Raiders won 5 to 4 and 5 to 1 in Sunday’s games. The Lady Raiders won the Region XVI tournament on May 15 and became the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference champs in late April.
