This spring, Three Rivers College student Ashley Miller received the Norma Hufstedler Endowed Scholarship, administered by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.
Miller, a resident of Bloomfield, is pursuing a Paraprofessional Educator degree at Three Rivers College. A 2007 graduate of Doniphan High School, she is the daughter of Carol and Brad Bowling of Bloomfield and Arlan Samons of Doniphan.
The fund was established by Norma Hufstedler Gordon. It is geared toward full-time students from the Doniphan R-1 school system seeking a degree in Math, Science, or Engineering.
This scholarship represents some of the more than $100,000 awarded to students in the 2019-2020 academic year by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust, a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College.
