Official Name of the College
“Three Rivers College” is the official name of the College and will be placed on all transcripts and diplomas. Historically accepted and abbreviated versions of the College name may be used for marketing purposes. Therefore, College materials may include “Three Rivers College,” the “College,” and “Three Rivers.”
Title IX Statement
Three Rivers College prohibits sexual harassment in any phase of its admission to or employment in its education programs or activities. Annual Policy Notification
As per federal requirement, our Policy on Drugs and Alcohol 2016 (GAP 1206) contains information concerning the use of alcohol and other drugs.
Biennial Review
Three Rivers College complies with the Drug-Free School and Campuses Regulation that requires Institutions of Higher Education to conduct a biennial review of their alcohol and other drug programs and policies, and campus occurrences of violations (EDGAR Part 86.100). The review is completed in even-numbered years by a Biennial Review Working Group under the leadership of the Dean of Student Services and the Director of Human Resources.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act
In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Three Rivers College has appointed Teresa Johnson, Director of Communications, as the College’s agent to receive notification of claimed infringement from a copyright owner.
Complaint Resolution
The Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) serves as a clearinghouse for postsecondary student complaints. The MDHE Policy on Complaint Resolution contains information about the complaint process and includes instructions for how to file a formal complaint. Note that the policy provides that a student who wishes to file a complaint with the department must first exhaust all formal and informal avenues provided by the institution to resolve disputes.
Data Governance
The College has developed an Electronic Data Governance Operating Manual and Data Security Team to help ensure the data of our staff and students remains safe, and to ensure that we are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and statutes, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule (GLBA).
