Three Rivers College awarded the James Kimbrow Memorial Scholarship to Chase Taylor of Malden during the Fall 2021 semester.
The James Kimbrow Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of longtime law enforcement officer James Kimbrow. Kimbrow was instrumental in the origin of the Three Rivers Citizens Advisory Board, which funded the scholarship. The scholarship fund was a way to honor the late Kimbrow for his service to the county and community.
Taylor is a 2018 graduate of Malden High School and is majoring in criminal justice. He is the son of Steven Lee Taylor.
