The James L. Byrd III estate has increased a scholarship for Mississippi County students who enroll at Three Rivers College.
The James L. Byrd III Memorial Scholarship provides annual scholarships for students who are graduates of Charleston or East Prairie High School, as well as Mississippi County residents who have completed the High School Equivalency exam. Students may be degree-seeking or enroll in a program at any of Three Rivers College’s locations or online.
“On behalf of Three Rivers Endowment Trust and Three Rivers College, we are honored that Mr. Byrd’s estate continues to make an impact on students from Mississippi County at Three Rivers,” said Michelle Reynolds, Director of Development at Three Rivers College. “This scholarship will help us aid even more Mississippi County students on their education journey at Three Rivers.”
