Three Rivers College awarded the Kay Porter Memorial Scholarship to four area Three Rivers students during the Fall 2021 semester. The scholarship was awarded to Johnny Boham, Abigail Mason, Maci Rauls, and Michael Thom.

These funds were endowed by Kay Porter, who gave back to Poplar Bluff entities during her lifetime.

Boham, of Dexter, is a 2000 graduate of Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis and is majoring in engineering and English. He is the son of Budhita and John Boham.

Rauls, of Dexter, is a 2020 graduate of Dexter High School and is majoring in business administration. She is the daughter of Rick and Stacy Rauls.

Thom, of Poplar Bluff, is a 2019 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and is majoring in music performance. He is the son of Hardin and Gretchen Thom.
