Incoming Three Rivers College students Caden Cannon, Malyssa Oldham, and Breann Harris, all of Doniphan, have received the Dick Brumitt Memorial Scholarship from the Three Rivers Endowment Trust. Cannon, a 2018 graduate of Doniphan High School, intends to major in pre-law at Three Rivers College and pursue a bachelor’s degree in criminal law. Oldham, also a 2018 graduate of Doniphan High School, is seeking a General Education degree and hopes to become a wildlife biologist. Harris, a 2018 Naylor High School graduate, plans to attain an associate degree in General Education, then transfer into a bachelor’s degree program in English Education.

Dick Brumitt was a longtime supporter of education in the area and served as a member of the Three Rivers College Board of Trustees and the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.

The Three Rivers Endowment Trust is a 501(c)(3) organization that receives and manages donations on behalf of Three Rivers College. The Endowment Trust provides a mutually beneficial means for individuals and businesses to partner with the College.
