Three Rivers College Business Administration student Makenna Shayann Black was awarded the Kay Porter Memorial Scholarship for the Spring 2019 semester. The scholarship funds were endowed by Kay Porter, who gave back to several Poplar Bluff entities during her lifetime.
A 2019 graduate of Clearwater R-1 High School, Black is the daughter of Amanda Owens of Piedmont.
