A Welcome Home event will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 30, for the Lady Raiders Softball Team, which made it to the Elite Eight at the NJCAA Division 1 National Softball Championship tournament.

Everyone is encouraged to come congratulate the team, which went further at nationals than any other team in Lady Raiders Softball history. The event will be held in the parking lot in front of the Bess Activity Center on the Three Rivers College campus.

The Lady Raiders (44-6) went 2-2 at the national tournament and reached the Elite Eight before losing to Seminole State. The team finished the season tied for seventh in the nation.

The Lady Raiders had a stellar season. The team won the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference Championship, Region XVI Championship, and Midwest District Championship. At the National Tournament, Zoe Bisby won the NJCAA Home Run Derby.
