Patrons of the Arts will present the “Funky Butt Brass Band” at 7 p.m. February 10 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center at Three Rivers College.
The Patrons of the Arts will celebrate these six talented musicians who take traditional New Orleans brass tunes and sprinkle in their own brand of special St. Louis musical magic, along with some Chicago blues, Memphis soul, southern rock, and St. Louis R&B.
“We’re honored to bring to Three Rivers a band that respects and reveres the New Orleans brass band tradition,” said Robert Abney, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center.
The Funky Butt Brass Band has played extensively across Missouri, and is omnipresent at St. Louis street parties, festivals, and nightclubs.
