Three Rivers College awarded the Richard Brumitt Memorial Scholarship to eight Three Rivers students from the Doniphan area during the fall 2021 semester.
The scholarship was created in memoriam of former Three Rivers College Trustee and Endowment Trust Board member Richard “Dick” Brumitt. The scholarship is awarded to full-time students residing in Ripley County.
The scholarship was awarded to Maguire Baucom, Madison Eddington, Jada Harris, Chloe Jackson, Madeline Justus, Jessie Kelly, Caleigh Osterman, and Carolyn Thompson.
Harris, of Doniphan, is a 2021 graduate of Doniphan High School and is majoring in high school education. She is the daughter of Anthony and Amy Harris.
Jackson, of Doniphan, is a 2021 graduate of Doniphan High School and is majoring in education. She is the daughter of Denver and Mindy Jackson.
Justus, of Doniphan, is a 2021 graduate of Doniphan High School and is majoring in Occupational Therapy. She is the daughter of Lisa and Gaylon Justus.
Osterman, of Doniphan, is a 2021 graduate of Doniphan High School and is majoring in early childhood education. She is the daughter of Jody Osterman.
Thompson, of Poplar Bluff, is a 2021 graduate of Doniphan High School and is majoring in Business/Finance. She is the daughter of the late Robbin Thompson and Jack Belote.
