U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Missouri) will visit Three Rivers College – Sikeston at 3:45 p.m. May 2.

According to Blunt’s office, the senator will tour the TRC facility at 1400 S. Main in Sikeston, visit with students, and talk about the importance of Pell Grants, a federally funded needs-based program that helps students pay for a college education.

The Pell Grant program was expanded this year to provide grants for Summer classes, as well as the Fall and Spring semesters. Year-round Pell will allow qualifying students to continue taking classes in the summer and finish their degrees faster. For details on Pell Grants and information on applying for financial aid, visit trcc.edu/financialaid.
