Three Rivers College sent equipment and supplies to the Eminence Volunteer Fire Department on March 8.
The Fire Department’s building caught fire in the early hours of March 5 and suffered the devastating loss of its entire station, equipment, and seven vehicles due to the fire.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Eminence Volunteer Fire Department and the community they serve following this terrible loss,” said Three Rivers President Dr. Wesley Payne.
The Three Rivers Fire Science and EMS programs delivered some medical and firefighting supplies Friday to help the Fire Department be prepared for emergencies while it rebuilds.
“Three Rivers is happy that we could donate supplies to help Eminence during this difficult time,” said Will Cooper, Three Rivers Division Chair, Career Studies and Workforce Development.
