Three Rivers College students now have eight new pathways to further their education thanks to a growing partnership between TRC and Southeast Missouri State University.
“This gives Three Rivers additional pathways for our students to seek higher education without the loss of any credit, and at a reasonable price,” said Dr. Wesley Payne, Three Rivers College President.
The articulation agreements list coursework, broken down by semester, for both TRC and SEMO. These agreements place students on a path that can guarantee a bachelor’s degree in four years, helping students maximize their efforts at each school and achieve their career goals faster.
The articulation agreement allows students who have earned an associate degree at TRC to make a seamless transfer to SEMO to obtain a bachelor’s degree. The two institutions now have 34 articulation agreements. The new pathways are: business analytics, aviation management, financial econometrics, comprehensive chemistry (foundational track), comprehensive chemistry (ACS certified track), forensic chemistry, Bachelor of Arts in English, and Bachelor of Arts in History.
“It is a pleasure to be able to expand on our agreements with TRC so students have a seamless transfer experience to SEMO to earn their bachelor’s degree,” SEMO president Carlos Vargas said.
TRC is also a participant in SEMO’s Transfer Mentor Program which offers students a mentor during their time at TRC through their first semester of enrollment at SEMO. This helps students plan and track their degree program and provides access to SEMO’s academic advising and degree management system.
