This year, Three Rivers College changed its annual Trivia Night in Poplar Bluff to a virtual event called Trivia Thursdays.

“Since we are unable to gather safely, we decided to change this event to a virtual setting this year which will still let us enjoy trivia, still raise money for TRC scholarships, and will allow more people to participate,” said Michelle Reynolds, Director of Development at Three Rivers College.

Beginning March 4, a trivia question will be posted on the TRC Facebook page every Thursday for at least 10 weeks. Voting will close at noon the following Monday, and the College will randomly select a winner from the individuals who answered correctly. Winners will receive prizes courtesy of local businesses. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

Trivia Thursdays are being sponsored by generous businesses, organizations, and individuals. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact Michelle Reynolds at 573-840-9077 or michellereynolds@trcc.edu for more information.

All proceeds from the annual Trivia Night—and now Trivia Thursdays—benefit the Black & Gold scholarship at Three Rivers, and assist students with great financial need.

Three Rivers College is committed to contributing to the quality of life in Southeast Missouri with quality, affordable higher education opportunities and community services that support and encourage the economic, civic, and cultural vitality of the region.
